When a visitors does a search query, they will be shown accurate search results, and they will see that filters and sorting have been applied. For example, when a visitor searches for ‘blue pants’, they will be shown products from the Pants category, with an applied filter Color = Blue and your desired sorting. Search Merchandising gives visitors the feeling that they’ve landed on the right results, and will proceed to convert!
